These Terms of Use (this “Agreement”) are made between you (“you” or “your”), and Strong Families, a Project of Tides Center, a California nonprofit benefit corporation, (“we,” “our,” or “us”), and govern the terms and conditions of your access to and use of our website located at https://strongfamiliesnm.org/ (“Site”). Your use of the Site indicates your acceptance to be bound by the provisions of the Terms of Use in effect as of the date of your use. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Site.
Content
All content and graphics created by us that are contained on this site are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws as well as other state, federal and international laws, regulations and treatises. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, post or otherwise distribute this content without the express written permission of us.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Site for illegal or unlawful or malicious activities, or for activities that we deem improper for any reason whatsoever in our sole judgment, including, without limitation, the violation of campaign finance laws and regulations, tax codes and regulations, charitable solicitations laws and regulations, or the harassing or making disparaging comments to any user of the Site. We reserve the right to take preventative or corrective actions to protect ourselves and our users. Your use of the Site is conditioned in part on your compliance with the rules of conduct provided herein, and your failure to comply may result in termination of your access to and use of the Site and liability for damages caused by your noncompliance.

Strong Families is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of any personal information about our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we protect personal information collected through our Site. “Personal information” for purposes of this Policy means information that identifies you, such as your name, address, phone number, or email address.
Data we collect and how we use it
We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us. We may use your information to register an account for you on our Site, allow you to leave a comment on our Site, or respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not sell or rent your information to third parties, though we may share it with organizations with whom we partner on issue or education campaigns. You may opt out of our sharing of your information. Unless you opt out, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about new campaigns, issues, or changes to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
We may disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with regulatory inquiries or government requests, a subpoena, or similar legal process and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
How we store the data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained on the Site indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you register on our website, we will also store your Personal Information. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time by contacting us via the email address provided at the end of the Terms of Use.
If you have an account on this site, have left comments, or have submitted a form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us, by completing the Data Export Request form. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by completed the Delete Data Request form. Indemnification

Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is deemed void, unlawful or otherwise unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be limited or removed, and the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect.
Statute of Limitations
Any claim under these Terms of Use must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises.

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Strong Families and govern your use of our Site.
Waiver
